I would like to welcome all the Sharyland community to a fun and exciting new school year at Bentsen Elementary. I am originally from Brownsville where I graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville. I will be teaching 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies this year. This will be my 23rd year as an educator. I look forward to having a wonderful year as I watch my students achieve many goals.
I am currently pursuing a master's in library science and media specialist.
